The Kildare Derby Festival is a vibrant celebration of Kildare’s rich culture and its deep-rooted connection to the Thoroughbred horse. Thoroughbred Country’s involvement this year will offer festival-goers a rare chance to explore the fascinating world of Thoroughbred horses through guided tours, interactive sessions, and exclusive experiences.

For the first time ever, Thoroughbred Country will offer an Exclusive Tour of the Irish National Stud, providing an unparalleled look into this iconic stud farm. In addition, the highly anticipated Kildangan Stud’s Foal-To-Fame Tour will be available, offering a unique perspective on the journey of a foal to becoming a racing star. Guests will also have the chance to go Behind-The-Scenes with acclaimed trainer Jessica Harrington, gaining insider knowledge of the training regimes and care routines of top racehorses. Not to mention there are several tours at The Curragh, home of the Irish Derby, where guests can enjoy breakfast at the racecourse along with meeting iconic figures such as Michael Kinane, John Oxx, and a few surprise guests along the way.
